DataNovaX is an innovative build-to-suit data center provider, catering to hyperscalers, data center operators, government, and large enterprises. DataNovaX is now accepting clients at Pioneer Park in Wichita Falls, Texas, an area renowned in North Texas for its vast concentration of semiconductor, oil & gas, manufacturing, and telecom-related industry giants planting roots in the area.
Our leadership team is deeply rooted in the community, including our CEO, who brings over 30 years of experience in North Texas commercial real estate and has recently run for public office. This strong community connection underscores our commitment to sustainable development, eco-friendly design, and construction processes, ensuring access to sustainable power resources. We also offer advanced cooling solutions through a partnership with Alcatex, a premier VAR to Vertiv®.
Our Team
Ahmed Abdelghani
CEO
With over 20 years of experience in real estate and the oil and gas industry, Ahmed has established himself as a prominent leader in the local business community. He founded Star Texan Corporation in 2008 Star Texan properties in 2020 and DataNovaX in 2024, serving as CEO for both companies.
At Star Texan, Ahmed focuses on industrial development properties and has played an active role with the region’s business sector, including membership at the Chamber of Commerce in Dallas TX. His commitment to economic, infrastructure and community services is evident in his recent run for a City Council seat in Wylie in May 2024. His platform focused on improving safety, schools and business growth to bring more jobs and prosperity to the community.
Ahmed brings a unique perspective to his business and community endeavors, having moved to the U.S. at the age of 17 from Egypt in 2001 to attend University of Texas at Arlington for economics. Raised in a family with an extremely strong work ethic, Ahmed worked his way through school at a local gas station and convenience store. Within a year, Ahmed worked enough to purchase his own gas station, eventually growing his enterprise to 32 properties spread across the state of Texas. He sold the business last year to focus more on his real estate and data center companies, community volunteerism, and family.
Ahmed continues his strong community support, with activities ranging from coaching his children’s sport’s teams to supporting organizations dedicated to helping the homeless and disadvantaged.
Allison Boen
Senior VP of Sales and Marketing
A long-time industry expert, Allison Boen brings more than 30 years of core data center design and construction experience to her role as Senior VP of Sales and Marketing at DataNovaX. Allison is also President and Co-founder of Alcatex Data Center Design and Consulting Specialists and has particular expertise in Efficiency Best Practices and sustainability initiatives as a Certified Data Center Energy Practitioner (DCEP) with the U.S. Department of Energy.
She is a recognized Advocate and Subject Matter Expert for High Density Liquid and Immersion Cooling Technology and serves as a Brand Ambassador for the Shell Corporation’s Single Phase Immersion Cooling Fluid. In her advocacy efforts, Allison encourages a more sustainable data center infrastructure future, incorporating reduced energy and water usage.
With her authoritative reputation and deep industry experience, Allison is an active participant in a number of key industry groups, has been honored with several awards, and is an often-requested speaker at industry conferences.
Her many accomplishments include: Top 25 Women in Technology award winner 2022; Honored Judge for the Data Cloud Global Awards 2022, 2023 and 2024; Yotta Vision 80 Panel Member; Mission Critical magazine Board Member and Guest Contributor; recipient of Capacity Magazine’s Global Women in Telco & Technology award; and Steering Group Committee member and Community Outreach Team Leader for the Open Compute Project, a worldwide comm
